Volunteer Opportunities

Woodstock is a cooperative. The participation of all Shareholders is necessary to our survival as a community. We welcome you to offer some of your time.

Roofing Committee
Initial areas of interest:

  • In partnership with the PM and BOD, the committee will determine the best color and materials for the roofs, as well as the ideal timeline and process for the project.
  • A member or members of the Roofing Committee will also confer with the Green Committee to see if sustainable and ecological roofing materials are feasible.
  • Features like solar panels and insulation should be evaluated.

In partnership with the PM and BOD, the committee will evaluate the bids and provide the Board a recommendation.

Experience with construction, building, design or project management are appreciated, but not required.

If you are interested in participating as a committee member, please contact the office.

Safety Committee
In response to shareholder concerns, the Board of Directors has established a safety committee. The purpose of the committee will be to establish what the main concerns are for our community as a whole and obtain a safety assessment. The committee will work with the Board and Management to establish long term strategies that will help connect everyone with their neighbors and strengthen the relative security of the community through education, communication, and the use of community resources.

If you are interested in participating as a committee member, please contact the office.

Green Committee
In response to shareholder concerns, the Board of Directors has established a green committee. The committee was established to research and develop plans for energy and water efficiency programs, education and information for shareholders of Woodstock Homes Corporation (WHC).

If you are interested in participating as a committee member, please contact the office.

Share Loan Funding Committee
In response to shareholder concerns, the Board of Directors has established a share loan funding committee. The committee was established to research financial institutions that that provide funding for share loans.

If you are interested in participating as a committee member, please contact the office.
